Garra rufa
Garra rufa aka doctor fish are my new tiny friends.Although they're meant to treat skin disease, by all means I don't have any, but the past few months work has been pretty hard to my sole skin. They're now rough and cracked. So I tried out the new treatment in a spa corner in some mall. Plunge in your feet and sit there for half an hour. At first it was ticklish that I could barely kept my feet down. But after some giggles you start to ignore it. You could feel it nibbling on your skin, but you can't tell if it's actually eating the areas you want to be treated.Result? I honestly don't see any change of feet skin, but I guess to treat what I got now I need pedicure. Til next time, my friends..
of grabbing an opportunity..
It was a glorious day, tho like any normal days nothing indicated it was going to be one. Actually it started rough and along the way became more frustrating. Just one of those days when no matter how hard you try you just can't accomplish anything. Not wanting to dwell in frustration I decided to go out to take care of another matter. And just 100 m out of the building something caught my eyes. A motorbike lying in the middle of the read, a body lying unmoved and a man approaching the body and dragged it to the side of the road. He then later moved the motorbike and left the premise. I wasn't aware that the man was actually the person who hit this poor man! He managed to left without anybody noticing that he was the crook! After some useless discussion among the watchers (people who just gather around without any real intention of helping), I announced that I will take the guy, but I'll need someone to go with me, and hold the guy on the way to hospital. In short, we managed to transport the guy, and his fam and friends later came to claim him and arrange medical papers. The minute everything was done I was so relieved that I started to sob. It was unexplainable, I don't even try to explain it. All I can think was how lucky I was to be there when it happened and to offer help without hesitation. Of all the times I passed an accident, I finally given the opportunity to actually help. Not worrying about reward or thank you, but had that chance of being a good Samaritan to somebody in need. With that, every frustration, every bad things that happened for the month seem sooo unmeaningful.
